Arborist & Tree Care in the Redlands

Not sure whether a tree needs to come out, be cut back, or just left alone? Cam holds a Certificate III in Arboriculture and has spent over a decade on the tools across the Redlands. He'll assess the health and structure of your trees and give you honest, practical advice - no upselling, just a clear plan for what's best. Fully insured, and the quote's free.

Qualified, not just handy with a chainsaw

A Certificate III in Arboriculture is the trade qualification for practising arborists, and it's more than plenty of outfits advertising "tree lopping" actually hold. It means the tree gets read before it gets cut - species, health, structure, how it's likely to fail, and what it genuinely needs. Sometimes the answer is "nothing, leave it alone". We'll tell you that too.
How we can help
We look at the condition of the tree, any signs of disease or decay, root issues, and the risk it poses to people and property. Then we'll talk you through your options - whether that's pruning, treatment, ongoing maintenance or removal. It's the same advice we'd give a mate.

Useful for:

- homeowners deciding what to do with a tree;- property managers and body corporates;- real estate agents preparing a property for sale; and- anyone planning landscaping, a renovation or a build near trees.

One thing we don't do: written arborists reports.

If Redland City Council has asked you for a formal arboricultural report to support a removal or a development application, that has to come from an AQF Level 5 consulting arborist - a different qualification, aimed at writing reports rather than doing the work. We don't write them, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we will do is come out, look at the tree, and tell you honestly whether you need a report at all. A lot of the trees we get called to are exempt or unprotected, and finding that out costs you nothing.

Why locals call us

You deal with Cam directly - straight answers, a proper qualification behind them, local knowledge of the Redlands and the council rules, and no pressure to do work you don't need.

  • Cam was fantastic. He showed up on time for the quote and was able to fit me in fast. He did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to get him back again.

Are you a qualified arborist?

Yes - Cam holds a Certificate III in Arboriculture, with over ten years' hands-on experience across the Redlands and full insurance on every job.
Do you write arborists reports?
No. Formal arboricultural reports for council applications have to come from an AQF Level 5 consulting arborist, which is a separate report-writing qualification. Cam is Certificate III qualified - the hands-on tree work. We'll happily assess your tree and tell you whether a report is even needed before you go and pay for one.

Do you charge for a quote or assessment?

No - quotes are free and there's no obligation. We'll come out, take a proper look, and give you our honest read.

Can you tell me if a tree is dangerous?

Yes - we'll assess its health and structure and tell you straight whether it's a genuine risk, what your options are, and what's urgent versus what can wait. If the tree is protected and council approval is in play, we'll tell you that up front and explain what's involved.
Once you know the plan, see tree removal, pruning and lopping, or our council approval guide.
