Stump Grinding in the Redlands
Left with an ugly stump after a tree's come down? We'll grind it out. Stump grinding removes the trip hazard, stops the tree regrowing from the roots, and gets rid of the termite and white-ant risk an old, rotting stump attracts. Fully insured, fast and tidy.
What's involved. We bring the grinder in and take the stump down to around 250mm below ground level - usually plenty to replant, lay turf, pour concrete or pave over the top. We clear away the grindings, or leave them on site as mulch for your garden beds if you'd prefer.
Need a stump ground that we didn't remove? No problem - we do standalone stump grinding too, including stumps another company left behind. From a single stump in the backyard to a whole row along a fence line, we'll sort it.

Why grind the stump?
- Stops the tree reshooting;
- removes a trip hazard;
- reduces the risk of termites;
- frees up the space to replant, turf or build; and
- finishes the job off neatly.

Reliable, on time, professional. Cam and his team did an amazing job cutting, removing and stump grinding big trees for us. Very impressed - would not hesitate to recommend them.

How deep do you grind a stump?
Around 250mm below ground level - enough to replant, turf or pave over the top. For larger stumps or where you're building, we can go deeper if needed, just ask.
Do you remove the roots too?
Grinding clears the stump and the main surface roots that cause regrowth and trip hazards. Deeper lateral roots break down naturally over time once the stump's gone.
Taking a whole tree out too? See tree removal.
